Kelly Kennedy

Office Coordinator

Kelly is thrilled to be joining the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan as Office Coordinator. It is a career high for her to be serving with such a vital and valued non-profit organization and one whose mission and vision she supports so passionately.

She brings 17 years of professional history as a specialist in office administration from the legal system, economic development, local government and the tourism industry. She takes true pride in being a sharp leader and creative solutionist who strongly embraces collaboration, critical thinking and finds great joy in crafting lasting partnerships.

Kelly is an active resident of the Blue Water Area in southeastern Michigan, where as deputy project leader of a 14-month community development enterprise, she co- developed a downtown performing arts theatre. Kelly also co-founded and was the co-executive director of a well-respected and long-running 501(c)(3) film festival.

One of Kelly’s most rewarding life moments came when she graduated from Northern Michigan University after a ten-year absence from the academic world. She returned to college in her early thirties completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre Performance with a minor in Criminal Justice and making the Dean’s List.

On the weekends, you’ll find Kelly deep in a tug of war game with her dog, Lexie, at a loud game night with friends, investing in her local economy by eating and shopping small or listening to Sam Cooke on a drive to a bookstore or museum.
