Participate in Research

Participating in epilepsy research has the potential to not only improve your own condition but also help others by increasing our understanding of epilepsy, developing new treatments, and possibly even preventing epilepsy. In some cases, participating in clinical trials and other research studies involves certain risks, so be sure to discuss these risks and possible benefits with your doctor before enrolling in any research study. For additional information on clinical trials and other research in which you can participate, visit the Epilepsy Foundation of America’s Participate in Epilepsy Research page.
