Alyx Newton
Development Director
Alyx Newton is the Development Director at the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan. Alyx graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Integrative Public Relations and Event Management and quickly found her passion working within the nonprofit sector.
Having a strong background in fundraising and development, Alyx continually searches for opportunities to expand upon her skillset, and learn how to best support and advocate for individuals living with epilepsy.
In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, traveling, watching documentaries, and winning at euchre.
Alyx is grateful to work alongside the incredible Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan team as together they create unique and impactful events, inspire community involvement, and provide meaningful support in the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.
