Pam Bird
Sr. Administrative Manager
Pam is the Sr. Administrative Manager for the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan having come to the Foundation in 1985 and holding a variety of positions since. She describes herself as “a lifer”, continuing to learn new things and keeping busy in all the areas of the Foundation. She is the resident “mom”, keeping the office humming!
Pam resides in the downriver area with her husband, Don, and their two dogs, Xantos, an energetic, long-haired German Shepherd and Lyric, a sweet Golden Retriever. Her adult children live nearby and she is a “gammy” to two beautiful boys, Caleb who she fondly calls, Poot, and Benjamin who she fondly calls, Bennie Boo.
“The most fulfilling part of my work is two-fold; the feeling of accomplishment and success that is felt when we have been able to assist someone affected by epilepsy with a problem or concern, or providing that listening ear, or even something as minor as a point in the right direction. My heart warms when I hear the hope that we might have been able to provide. The second fulfilling aspect of my work is the feeling of family. The relationships and friendships that have been built and continue to be built are inspiring and so rewarding.”
