Brianna Romines

President

Brianna Romines is the President of the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan. Romines has served the Foundation since 2005, cultivating a true partnership with the epilepsy community in Michigan. Her passion and commitment to those suffering from the effects of epilepsy knows no bounds.

In her prior role as Vice President of Development for the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan, Romines has had a direct hand in generating well over $3.1 million in revenue which has benefited the epilepsy community in Michigan.

Romines is well known for her exceptional skills in community outreach. During her tenure with the Foundation, she has:

  • Managed and overseen all aspects of donor relations, including the development of a comprehensive donor acknowledgment and stewardship process designed for both individual given and corporate sponsorships.
  • Overseen and managed all general fundraising activities, event logistics, and budgets for the Foundation.
  • Created and implemented a comprehensive digital platform for the Foundation’s largest fundraiser, the Summer Stroll for Epilepsy™ fundraising walks, in multiple Michigan cities.
  • Launched the highly successful Toasting Hope Wine Event which has raised more than $1 million dollars since its inception.
  • Created and executed multiple, successful initiatives including the Annual Fund Direct Mail Appeal, a Third Party Fundraising Program, a standardized volunteer application, an internal process, and the development of a Strategic Plan.
  • In her role as a leader, she has managed, coached, and motivated the staff of the Foundation.

In 2009, Brianna was recognized as the National Staff Person of the year by the Epilepsy Foundation of America – the highest honor a non-executive employee can receive. She also led the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan to its first ever Golden Circle Award administered by the Epilepsy Foundation of America and given only when a fundraising event has the net revenue of over $100,000.  In 2020, Brianna was recognized as one of Oakland County’s “Elite 40 Under 40” that recognizes and spotlights dynamic leaders under the age of 40 who are making a difference in Oakland County and beyond.

Romines has a master’s in Public Administration from Oakland University with a concentration in nonprofit management. She attended Grand Valley State University and received a bachelors of science in public and nonprofit administration. She lives in White Lake with her husband and two young sons.
